Thank you hmellon. I felt so privileged to see them interact. I could have watched them all day! When another fawn, who (I'm assuming) had been sleeping in the nearby deep grass woke up and joined them, she wandered off.
The best shot is either the first or last. If its the first, you wonder why you spent all that time taking the other hundred.... if its the last, well then it was all worth it.
Thank you Larry. Truth be known, I do not have a macro lens as of yet, and I was completing an assignment for a photography course, (this one class was on macro), with what I had...and he was encouraging to get as much depth of field as possible. He gave us several options to do this, and the ideas had me excited. I couldn't wait to try them out. This was my last shot of the day, and my favorite.
Gorgeous photo Sheri. I think sometimes people zoom in too much and crop too tight when more scene is better. After all, photos aren't usually for scientific journals and ID but something beautiful you can put on the wall. Like this.
Thank you hmellon! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very cool and creative! I'm glad you kept it and shared it.. it's a beauty.
This is just so sweet and beautiful.. I love it! Excellent shot, Sheri!
So true.
