Hi, Santalucia.. That looks great. You brought out the eyes very nicely here. Just want to add.. that if you are going for a very minimal effect you could also go very high on the lighting and then adjust the contrast so that you lose detail and enhance the eyes, nose, whiskers and ears. I love the crop.. it balances this image beautifully. I really like this.. but it's also fun to play around and if I were working with this image I would save it to a new file and test the lighting and contrast. I would leave this one as it is because it's a beautiful portrait.. and upload the new version separately. What do you think?

You have a very handsome subject here.. and what a pose you got! I would up the light a bit to bring out his eyes and markings, add a touch of contrast if needed, and crop the top down closer to the ears. If this was my photo, that is what I would do. It really requires very little adjustment, if any, and I'd say you did a great job!
