Thank you Sticks!! The nest is a three minute drive from where I live, down a dead end street I had never been to before, and a resident told me about the nest before the hawk even arrived. I wrote Canadian Geographic about the browse button for the contests advertised at the head of the main page, and I received the help I needed. Apparently my browser wasn't what they were using, and I had to activate it manually. All is well now...

Oh yeah!!! sweet shot!!! Job, my canine companion, and I had some good old boys fly over us on Remembrance Day last year in the "Missing Man" formation while we were walking on the beach = cool. Great shot and processing :)

I just tried the contest button for this site and it appears that it works for me. Are we supposed to upload pictures to be in the weekly contests etc. ? I thought we were automatically entered. I might not be understanding what you are referring to :) Hope all goes well for you!

Thanks Sheri!!! This is a great story to follow :) I think Wayne put us onto it eh? I will check out the contest browse button? I find this site usually has some sort of little glitches in it, but it is great to at least see the photos from other folk. I have not been on the site for a month or so. Good to see the great photography again!
