Subject is dead in the centre of the shot. Check out rule of thirds for that.
Subject is very common bird which makes it a little boring.
Subject isn't doing anything interesting.
Seems to have been shot around mid day. This is not a good time (generally) to get great shots.
Subject seems to be in a shadow of some kind.
The red post in the foreground is a distracting element.
