I remember as a child - walking through this gate and passed this old barn - down the hill to Chain lakes. I grew up about 1 1/2 miles from here -- on a farm southeast of Ponoka Alberta .. The Berdine's still own this house and the barn is still standing .. This land has been in the Berdine family since the about 1912 - I believe
