Riordan Creek, Great Bear Rainforest. This Kermode was quite a ways up-creek working a small waterfall. I was straddled over a large dead log that reached out over the water. Mr. Kermode started working his way up the creek until he was UNDERNEATH me. Most unnerving .. but he was not interested in me... he wanted salmon. I think it is somewhat unusual to be on top of a bear !!
