Wild Horses & Bull Caribou

Far out about the coin !!! I will try to get one - now that I know a famous photographer :)

Hi Sticks aka Chris. Bella Bella... quite the place. I have flown in to Bella Bella to catch a sailboat - The Ocean Lite II to travel through the Great Bear Rainforest. I appreciate the info on Bear Camp. The Khutzeymateen has my heart though. I was fortunate enough for my photo of a grizzly to be chosen by the Can Mint to be minted for the 13 coin set for our 150th. I represent British Columbia. I have several 'photo friends' in BC who told me someone from Ontario had not right representing BC. Kidding of course. I love your province and my only child lives there with family in Squamish.

Love yer photos. This is taken in a wild meadow close to Chilanko Forks, BC. The majority of my shots are in BC, and there are a few from one of our Dempster Highway trips in the Yukon Territory. Our folks live on Vancouver Island, so my ocean shots are from there, and the majority of my shots are taken in the Tsilhqot'in Territory of BC.

Where was this taken? Too funny .... I looked it up.. no surprise. I thought the CA was for California .. duh ! I also work with another photo club and CA is California. But, this IS Canadian Geographic. This shot screams Alberta or British Columbia. Love the dynamics of this shot.

Job, my canine pal, like to give them a lot of space - as much as possible anyway :) We like to walk through the bush too ha ha. This herd of horses is always at this particular meadow, and they recovered their numbers recently with another foal. It is great to watch the wee ones grow up year after year. The caribou walked around the horses and into the adjoining meadow :)
