Even though Grizzly Bears have excellent smell and sight, in the high sedge grass they check out the area by standing when the wind is against them. Mom is standing and her male cub is learning to do the same. The female cub was not so inclined. It is a dangerous time for the cubs in mating season. Male bears do not want them around. The Khutzeymateen.
