During the morning of this epic flood I took the camera out and waded out into the flooding to capture some shots. This shot was taken on the "road" in waist deep waters along the elbow river.

Holy Moses! My wife and I were in Calgary for a couple of years - before the flood. Glad we missed that one! Thanks for the post - and happy trails to ya. One thing I noticed in Calgary when I lived there was how well the lilac bushes do in that climate - as evident from your photo.
