A bank of clouds rolled in just as we were getting off the chairlift at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. The sun was still trying to push through from the other side, creating an other-world type light. I snapped this picture of my husband and friend as they skated their way to the top of the run. The backlit fog made it look like they were about to drop off into the unknown.
