City in a Bridge

The High level bridge in Edmonton, Alberta built in 1913 originally connected the communities of Edmonton and Strathcona. It was originally built with 3 tracks on the upper deck for CPR service and street car service. It is iconic in Edmonton. Running next to the legislature building and connecting the city across the North Saskatchewan River. Very much a part of our cityscape it is utilized by vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists.
