Curlewmania has struck the Prince George birding community. We are all fascinated with the stories of the Long-billed Curlews that breed in this area and winter in California. Several curlews have been tagged and can be tracked by satellite. The first curlews were noted back on April 6, 2020. This is a photo of one of the birds feeding along an open area in a local field along the route of a pipeline that causes the snow to melt earlier than the surrounding area. Date of Photo: April 10, 2020

Really like that one. White snow makes it stands out nicely. Focus is sharp. good shot.
