Northern Vancouver Island is known for the odd Grizzly bear to make an appearance. They swim over from the mainland. On one particular afternoon I was with a friend looking for wildlife. He mentioned that there was a Grizzly bear spotted near this area we were in. I really wanted to see this bear. We waited a few hours when all of a sudden this massive brown head pokes out from the trees and works his way around the estuary grazing for greens. We spent the next few others collecting incredible images of this Grizzly bear. A unique experience that isn't to common here on Northern Vancouver Island
