    I was birdwatching at Mud Lake in west Ottawa (in the Brittania Conservations Area), and just came up on this little squirrel. He was sitting on a branch just a half metre off the path, and at eye level. I think he was a surprised as I to come eye-to-eye unexpectedly :)
