Once cattle grazing the dunes system at Sandbanks Provincial Park in Prince Edward County, Ontario has become too arid to support agriculture. As a result of the grazing early last century the government attempted to reforest sections of the dunes with some success, although many areas remain open and de-forested. This view shows one of the more vegetated areas of the dunes.
