A lights smoke from the California fires moved into Haida Gwaii and gave some colour to this setting sun.

Thank you, Jenny. Yes, I've seen a half dozen similar shots. I would expect the smoke in BC although it wasn't all that thick here but in Ontario shows us how integrated we are to climate change

Similar shot to mine in Ontario. Hard to believe the smoke is getting this far. Great capture.

Thank you, Jane. Although we don't want to see smoke in our atmosphere, it sure makes for some colourful skies, moon and sunsets
