I was taking photos of sharpshins chasing jays when one sharpshin chased a jay over my kichen deck. They both turned sharply, first the jay. As the sharpshin turnrd a retail hawk came flying from the front of my house and the sharpshin and redtail collided, wings only. A couple of down feathers fell to the ground but both birds were okay. The redtail landed in a tree very close to my deck and this is the photo I captured.

Thanks Debra. I wish I had gotten the photo of them crashing, knowing they would be okay of course but we get some we miss some.
