The squirrels have been quite busy dropping pine cones out of a Red Pine tree down onto the ground and into the water. This little squirrel did his best to retrieve the dropped cones and hide them away for the winter.

When I realized the cones were dropping in the water I thought it would be pretty different to get a picture of the squirrel on the edge of the water waiting for the cone to float in. His movement was pretty quick and I couldn’t see to capture him in his best stance.

Like that one Degra. I know it's not, but I rather imagine that you took the perfect shot to illustrate the very nice and appreciated story you wrote about that scenery.
