While passing through Oak Hammock Marsh on his/her way to its wintering territory in the Southern United States, this Greater Yellowlegs stopped to rest and refuel. The chilly waterway will provide the necessary aquatic invertebrates necessary to continue its journey.

Seen with the zooming mode I find that picture wanderful. The overall capture is luminous and the bird has beautiful colors. and details. Like also the texture of the shallow water,
