It figures, I decided to change my lens from my telephoto to my short zoom wide angle to take some landscape shots today. It was a very chili frosty day with lots of frost on the ground and ice crystals in the air. Wouldn't you know it...this beautiful buck (4 or 5 points) appeared out in the field in front of me. There was no way that I was able to get a close enough shot to show off this handsome buck. It was as if he...he looked at me for a minute and then wandered into the bush.

I am smiling about the situation, kind of common. I am glad you did not have the telephoto lens. Then your talent gives me a nice winter landscape, well composed and the deer is just big enough to attrack the eyes. I like it as well. Your narrative is appreciated too.

Isn't that always the way.. and so frustrating too! But you got a lovely capture of this handsome buck in his element.. and it's a beautiful image, Debra!
