This White-tailed Doe and her Fawn where enjoying the fresh snow and the morning sun shine. The frost on the tree branches was glistening from the warmth of the morning sun. The two seemed very intent on getting their morning meal in. I am pretty sure this is the same two deer where the young one was nuzzling the mothers chest. It is very close to the same spot. I couldn't resist taking this picture.

A beautiful winter landscape and portrait of this lovely pair Debra. You caught them both in the perfect pose too.. a great shot!

I like very much that one Debra. With that compo you present a very charming portrait of the mother and child. Lighting is gorgeous in this shot and you know how I like the see-through effect in a picture. Of course the snow enhence the overall look. Nice, nice

Nice one, Debra. I love the way the white spots on the deer, particularly the doe, stand out against the darker areas during the winter (ie the ears, the eyes) almost creating a mask.
