This boreal forest dweller decided to visit a southern marsh last winter. Many people gathered to see and photograph this rare bird. Before it disappeared, this northern hawk owl gave a quite a display for the viewers. Climate change, loss of their habitat and food sources would have driven this bird to the southern part of the country.
