Family Time

After a long winter, this muskrat family was spending quality time outside their lodge. Muskrats live near freshwater bodies and build their lodges near water. They are relatively inactive during winter and come out in the spring. This family has blended in well with the dry cattail plants, hardly noticeable to anyone.
