    I could see this Heron wandering around on the shore of an island near my cottage August 14, 2020. So I grabbed my camera, climbed into my Kayak and paddled over to see what he was doing. Shortly after I got close enough for a shot, about 200 feet from shore, the Heron struck this pose. He was clearly sunbathing while drying his feathers following a satisfying meal.
