This was taken on a river in Edéhzhíe Protected Area 14218 sq. Km. The area is twice the size of Banff and the Horn plateau is an important part of this area. It is a remote area only accessible by float plane. In the times I have been there I have seen no other person and only 1 high altitude jet flyover. It is home to the boreal forest caribou, moose, black and grizzly bear, wolves and many other forest creatures, fish and fowl.
