I have spotted this gorgeous Great Grey Owl a couple of times over the last two weeks. Most times the owl is either too far away or takes off before I can get a picture of him/her. Today I was able to get this picture before he/she flew to another tree about 500 yards to another wooded area. I am not sure if this is the same owl as the previous picture or if it is possibly the mate. From what I have read the male and female markings are identical and the female is the larger of the two.
