I thought it was neat how a pair of mallards swimming by helped to frame this drake as he stretched his wings. I sometimes overlook mallards because they are so common, but it can be a fun challenge to try to photograph mallards in creative ways. They are beautiful ducks, especially the colour and detail in the wings.
