On an early morning hike in Elk Island National Park I came across a beautiful moose grazing on branches on the trail. It would not move and seemed very uninterested in my presence. I watched it for awhile, took many photos, and then I cut into the brush and deep snow off the trail to make a wide circle around the moose, leaving it to its meal.

Great shot, Katie! Nice you left it alone so it could continue to eat undisturbed, as well.
