I was about to leave Birds Hill Park when a herd of deer started to cross over highway 206. There was approximately 20 deer and they all appeared to be enjoying our milder temperatures. When I thought there was no more deer more would come out of the bush and start to cross over the highway. This happened three times before it was safe to turn onto the highway. Instead of turning onto the highway I backed up and went back into the park. Two of the deer groups were just venturing into the bush. The first group that had crossed over (2 bucks in the group for sure) was still in the field watching the others run into the bush. I was able to get one shot before they followed the other deer. Beautiful to see that many deer bucks, does and little ones born last spring mingling and traveling together. Glad to see they were headed away from the highway and into the park.

Very nice shot at the family. and sharp focus too. Of course they are quite far away on the original shot. but I checked them with the enlarge mode and they all are beautyful. Each one has a différent pose and with that sun their colour s are very good.
