I was lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunrise over Hecate Strait from Haida Gwaii. The waters and especially the clouds had a bit of movement so I decided to shoot a long exposure. A one and a half minute exposure stretched the clouds quite nicely to allow the light to streak through.

Agree with Bernie’s comments. The light and colour on the rocks is very striking. What a cool shot Harold.

Beautiful, Harold. The long exposure was a great choice.

When the shot is enlarged, one sees the full effect of the play of light on the rocks - captivating and so well done Harold. Excellent!
