I shot this sunset looking west at 8:30 PM on the 28th of March from a bridge over the Chown river near Masset, Haida Gwaii. A half hour later I turned to the east and shot the next photo, the moon rising, from the same bridge.

Nice perspective Harold. Like the bright orange colours.
The weather actually changed quite fast from what was forecast, Debra, which may have had something to do with the atmospheric colours that were given out by the sunset. I had to add weight to my tripod to hold it down. I didn't want to go any higher than 400 ISO.
Wow it seems as if the river is on fire, love the effect the long exposure creates. beautiful image Harold. Must have been a great evening to experience that sunset and then the full moon.
