I was very surprised that this one didn't fly off when I stopped to take my shots....instead as I mentioned, up went the head and out came the tune. Another trivia bit here is that these birds can sing while flying, while most birds can only do that perched. Spiritually speaking, seeing a meadowlark indicates that in a given situation the worst is over, the time for sorrow will soon lessen. This will be one of the sweetest times of life, it indicates that you may have been in the dark for too long. Finally the time to rejoice is at hand.
