I admit this wasn't what I went looking for, I was out looking for Trumpeter Swans that overwinter in this area at the south end of Buttle lake on Vancouver Island in Strathcona Park. This was, however, what I got. Some beauty in reflection and imagination. The area was logged and flooded in the fifties when Strathcona dam was built, but the evidence of what was once there shows up when the water levels are low.
