    The male Osprey was protecting and keeping the eggs warm while the female Osprey took a short break from the nest. The female was watching me from a distant hydro pole and decided it was time to get back to the eggs/nest. The male Osprey's head can be seen down low in the nest.

    The male is probably happy to get a break and stretch his wings. I would guess the male is smaller in this species, Debra
