A bear came into the creek bed near my home yesterda, perhaps the same one that was in three days before. As I was taking a few photos when the bear was startled and went into the forest on the run. I heard some cracking of branches when out walked this second bear, larger than the first. It's possibly ten or more years since I've seen more than one bear near my home so I feel fortunate to see the second.

Great shot! I’m scheduled for a Masset visit in a couple weeks. The camera is definitely coming along.

Super shot Harold. I mean, not only for the bear, the overall picture is amazing for its deep colours and perfect lighting. The pose of the bear is the good one to show the guy is big. Keep on learning about this creature, but take care.

Beautifully framed, Harold. Such a privilege to see and photograph these beautiful bears close to home.
