Photography can be quite addictive and we can spend much time hunting for a subject and composition that pleases us and hopefully pleases others. Some subjects of course fall into our laps. I was out for a morning walk when I came across this buck in my neighbour's yard. He stared at me so intently I had plenty of time to find what seemed to be a good composition. It's always nice too when we can leave a scene without putting fear into the wildlife.

That picture is a real beauty Harold, and what you say about it is a real beauty as well. Nice to know someone with a big heart for nature. It is so well composed that It send me back in time, long time ago. a timeframe in the film BAMBI from Walt Dinney, I was looking with my young son.

You caught the right position for a nice composition Harold. The foreground scrubs on the left really frame the buck nicely. Colourful image with nice lighting.

I love the story behind this one and how beautifully you captured the moment Harold. And it's especially nice that the deer had no need to fear your presence. That makes for a great shot.
