I was out photographing a Millipede when I saw this Earthworm crawling across some freshly dug soil. I wanted to see if a macro picture would make it any more attractive. There are over a million species of worms and about sixty thousand types of earthworms. I believe this is a compost worm.

Not an easy capture to get but you got some great detail and colors in this one Harold. I really appreciate the informative dialogue too.

Nice Harold. I like that compo with detailled moss and the worm. I know what you mean, moving subject are a chalenge at close range. You did it well.
