From quite a distance the doe had spotted us and moved her fawn to the other side of the campground road. As we passed by this area the fawn moved over a couple of trees and lied back down. The doe was off in the distance keeping a close eye on the fawn. I took this picture as we were walking by I did not want to alarm the doe or the fawn.

I love the colors and crisp detail you captured here Debra. I can't think of a better way to start the day than with an encounter and capture like this. A delightful image.
Enchanting shot Debra: I love the natural curiosity of this fawn. Such a great feeling to this capture.
Very nice exposure on the fawn, Debra, considering the light is coming partially from the rear of the fawn. Nice strong colouring in the fawn and I like that there is some light getting to the ears.
Goegeous shot at the fawn Debra. Lucky to have encounter a so beautyful model this morning. Crisp details and great colours of the fawn and surrounding. Notice that the body of the fawn points towards the lighted part of the image. Cute little friend.
