    You could hear the sound of her wings as this Rufous Hummingbird hovered in place close to me.

    I miss seeing the rufous hummers at our feeder.. haven't seen one yet this year and that seems odd. This is a beautiful and excellent flight shot Harold.

    Excellent Harold - I have never been knowingly this close to a hummingbird. Great capture and at 1/2500 sec, the wings are still blurry.
