This young Red-headed Sapsucker flies through my yard almost daily but has been a bit camera shy. This time he landed low on a maple tree and spent some tome wandering around the perimeter.

Excellent focus and detail on the woodpecker and I really like the pov on this one. It's a beautiful image just the way it is in my opinion :)

Great shot Harold. Agree with Jane, the sharp eye of the bird attracted my eye right away. Good that the background is white. Appreciate your reflexion about depth of field. For me the main tree is clear enough. For me both solution gives a nice picture. just different.
