As I took my morning stroll, this robin started walking back and forth across the road in front of me as if it was protecting a nest.

A terrific capture Harold. The robin stands out very well against the textured road and the lighting is perfect, not to mention the focus which is spot on. I like the determined look.. so typical of a bird protecting the nest too..

Nice shot at the usual merlin. Focus is sharp and colours are great. For me , what bring that usual merlin to a higher level is the colour of the trail he is standing on. It is like the trail took the colour tone of the merlin's feathers. Very interesting and beautyful.

Those morning walks are the best time to connect with nature. Very nice closeup of the Robin, hopefully her nest is in a safe place.
