The sun went down over Haida Gwaii and the sky turned red at the horizon. A long exposure turned the ocean to a fog and stretched the clouds.

What a stellar shot, it creates a real feeling for the moment. Haida Gwaii is an awesome place and I had the pleasure of living there in 1975, 1976 where I worked as the Bank Manager at CIBC.
Hi Harold. So lovely to see this vista. I have been so close to visiting Haida Gwaii on three or four occasions. Dynamite capture with dramatic colours and contours.
A gorgeous sunset sky beautifully captured. The detail in the foreground stands out very nicely against the waters and evening sky.. a great shot!
