As I walked through the park on a very overcast and slightly rainy day I was fortunate to see this red tailed hawk perched low on the tree. He stayed in the spot for awhile looking around and preening until an unfortunate squirrel came a little to close and the hawk couldn’t resist snatching it and taking it up high to eat.
