I closed in on this Beaver's face as he swam close to me, the light showing the real colour and heavy coat of the animal.

An awesome close-up of this fine looking beaver, Harold. I love how beautifully the rippled waters frame his face and the steadfast look in his eye. What a great shot!

Great portrait Harold, the lighting was perfect to show off this guy. I agree with Yves on how gorgeous the water looks surrounding the beaver. Wonderful shot.

Very nice close up of this beaver Harold. You were so lucky that he had your trust and allowed you to capture this awesome image with such detail

This is a great portrait of your friendly beaver Harold. Nice to see the face so detailled with a cute attitude. Pattern of the light surrounding the beaver is just amazing. and help sustain the sight on the subject.

When they are wet they are very hard to photograph, I find...they are so dark. Nice job.
