Something kept drawing my attention to this area of the bush so I decided to take a picture even though there really isn't a point of interest that I focused on. I think it was how lush the forest looked with the smoke slowly filtering through the trees.

Debra, The capture is perfect here. I like the hole in the center which gives a perspertive of seeing far away. Your explanation is important here and it brought a smile. Same thing happends to me few times a season. I think that what is missing on the photo that pleases you is the flowing, the moving smug from a side to the other. Specialy in the center with lighting. I would have been quite disturbing.

As much as we don't welcome smoke like this it enhances the detail on the trees in the opening here so very nicely. Beautiful composition and tones, this looks like a peaceful and very inviting place to be. A lovely image, Debra!
