Smoky Okanagan Sunset

This sunset is not what I imagined when I booked this trip to Osoyoos. Fires are raging across BC right now. There are 264 active fires today and over 500,000 hectares have burned so far and we aren’t over yet. Usually the sunset here at the Nk’mip Desert Cultural Centre is stunning with the sculpture of the Chief. This year it’s just eerie.
