I was driving along Hwy 206 just south of Birds Hill Park and noticed the setting sun poking through this very threatening cloud. The trees in this area have been dead for years helping to make this a very moody sunset.

very interesting main cloud and the timing with the sun is awesome and the silhouetted trees finish off the great image

I love how the trees stand out against the threatening sky here. There is real beauty in a stark scene like this when you have a stormy sunset sky to back it up with. Great shot, Debra!

You sure have an artistic reflex to capture that scene. Impressive God's eye where I can see the sun and its light comming through. Like also the opposing shadow world with perfect dead trees in the bottom and the uplifting world of the light behind the cloud (top). Great shot.

Good eye, Debra! A very nice scene all around! I love the trees against the cloud and the contrasting colours along with the light and shadows.
