A pair of Trumpeter Swans with four cygnets enjoy a peaceful autumn afternoon. As long as the lakes remain open there will be Swan activity usually into November. Come freeze up any stragglers will head southward or across to the West Coast for the winter.

Lovely shot of those magnificent Swans Heather. They are such a graceful bird for their size and to me are a symbol of tranquility. I love how the marsh grass is surrounding the swans, beautiful composition for a beautiful bird.
