Parks Canada Grand Pre View Park has flags representing all the people of Canada, the Mic'kmaq and its unceded territory , the Acadians who settled in Nova Scotia in the 1700's, UNESCO which has recognized the site as a World Heritage Site and the Province of Nova Scotia. The flags are flying at half mast to remember those lost and to honour the survivors of the atrocities at the residential schools in Canada.
