Abraham Lake is spectacular in the autumn. This beautiful man made lake is in the Kootenay Plains of the Canadian Rockies. Abraham Lake was created in 1972 with the construction of the Bighorn Dam. It is best know for the frozen methane bubbles that form under the ice surface in the winter.
